You know the feeling you get when you’re around someone who you just can’t resist. You can’t look away… you’re excited about the conversation… you’re feeling interested and engaged in the communication – you’re turned on.

Now this turned on feeling isn’t referring to sex (although it definitely could be) – it can be an emotional and energetic turn on, where you are feeling fully alive and present to the experience that you are having.

What’s more liberating and exciting than this feeling?

It’s this emotional engagement that I refer to as being my personal definition of irresistible. Being irresistible means you are creating an energy force around you that draws people in and makes them want to stay and stay… and stay.

In order to understand how to be irresistible to those around you, you must first think about what’s holding you back.

Think for a moment about an experience where you didn’t feel irresistible and instead you felt like you were almost pushing people away. Most people can relate to this scenario and often don’t know what went wrong.

Let’s keep it short and sweet ~ what most likely held you back from being irresistible was the energy, attitude and purpose that you brought to the experience. These three things are what can either drive someone towards you or push them away.

Ask yourself – what energy did I bring into the situation? What was my attitude like? What was my purpose for participating in the experience/conversation? Really lean into these questions without judgement or emotional attachment.

Now I want you to think back to an experience where you felt irresistible and completely in your power…

Where were you? What were you wearing? What was your body language conveying? How did you feel about yourself and the person you were communicating with? What was your energy and attitude like? What were you talking about? Think about all the details of this experience and replay it in your mind.

You are irresistible to those around you when you are in your high, positive energy state. Your body language is exuding confidence and excitement for life. Your attitude matches your energy in that you are enthusiastic and ready to play full out and be totally present with whatever situation you may be in. And lastly, you are on purpose. You are standing in your power.. fully turned on.. ready to play and enjoy.

Who could resist all of that… no one!

Lets create an anchor for this irresistible feeling – place your middle finger and your thumb together and as you press your fingers together repeat the word irresistible.

If this word doesn’t resonate with you feel free to replace it with another word that feels good for you… “turned on” “powerful” – whatever works.

Use this anchor to connect you with your most powerful, irresistible self.

Take your anchor, this mantra and your new understanding of how to be irresistible and practice. Notice how people respond to you and take note of the small (and big) changes you see in your everyday experiences and conversations.
