BH: How did you end up doing what you do? Tell us your story!

Jennifer: I was working in corporate America in public relations. And I was angry, unhappy, and I knew that there was something bigger but I just didn’t know how to go about finding it.

I met a woman who did my hand analysis and told me that my life purpose is: Powerful, Healer and Teacher of Service in the Spotlight.

I then began the journey of figuring out just what that meant in a tangible way. She asked me to speak at a conference that she was giving about life purpose and essential oils. Prior to the conference I was asking some big questions: where are my people and what do I do with my gifts and talents.

While I was at the conference a woman said to me that she felt a deep connection with me (and I felt the same about her). I asked Divine guidance, why that was so and the answer was the beginning of Soul Language and before long I had a paradigm to put some tangibility to Soul and the Soul of your business/movement.

When I first started, I kept approaching individuals who weren’t really interested in seriously connecting to their Soul. I kept trying to convert the non-convertible; when I released the need to be right I started finding my people who were really interested in having a more profound relationship with themselves, others and the Divine.

BH: What is your ‘Wake Up Call for the World?’ In other words, what is most of the world asleep about that you would love to wake up?

Jennifer: My wake up call for the world is not really a wake up call; it’s more of a remembering. I think a lot of us, me included at times, forget that we are whole and complete.

And we do and say a lot of things that create separation from our truth. There are a couple of things I want the world to know: that the Divine is on our side, and that we are all whole and complete

BH: What are the biggest challenges or aspirations your clients come to you with, and what does your work make possible for them?

Jennifer: I think the biggest challenge that my clients come to me with is that they know that they have a very big mission, that they want to create a movement and change the world, but their challenge is truly accepting that they are worthy to be the leader of that movement and knowing the next steps to making that movement a reality.

Soul Language helps Spiritual Renegades (that’s what I call my peeps) to understand the truth about themselves, to open up to receiving the support of the universe and to understand and accept their gifts and their talents. It also allows for deeper clarity around their business/movement’s mission and agenda and it helps them collaborate with the how of the universe.

BH: We’re curious about your breakthrough moment in business. Looking back, what created the breakthrough?

Jennifer: I think a lot of us look for that golden ticket moment and there are so many little moments that create huge shifts and kind of go unnoticed. I think one of the biggest breakthroughs for me was understanding about consistency and figuring out what was I going to do for my business on a daily basis, on a monthly basis, on a quarterly and yearly basis.

Another breakthrough was the realization that my business is truly here to support me, that it is pure consciousness and when I actually had a conversation with the energy of my business, it had (and has) a wealth of knowledge to provide me with that supports what I want to achieve here.

BH: What words of wisdom do you have for all the emerging Business Heroines out there who are on the cusp of creating their own purpose-based business?

Jennifer: The first bit of wisdom I like to offer is really listen to your own gut. Often we try to do our business through survey because we are in fear of what we do not know or not getting what we need. That can create a big trap. We will do things out of fear and not by listening to our Souls, hearts, and guts.

The second piece is knowing that you’ve had this idea, this purpose for a reason and everything has already been created for you to succeed. I often tell clients that faith is a practice and trust is a practice, and to remember to gather those resources that help you in feeling a deeper sense of trust for yourself, and to create structures that support your business and foundations that are going to allow you to receive.
