One Simple Question to Gain Absolute Clarity

Making decisions. It’s a simple process, really, yet sometimes we get thoroughly stuck trying to make a decision… especially when it’s an important one. Can you relate?

• Should I make the big purchase?

• Should I break up with him?

• Should I quit my job and move to Costa Rica?

The problem is, indecision IS a decision… to stay put. If you don’t have the ability to make decisions – and swift ones when necessary – you will miss opportunities over and over again.

Here one simple question you can ask yourself to gain absolute clarity so you can move forward with no regrets. Next time you’re facing a big decision in your life or your business, ask yourself,

“Five years from now, what would I regret NOT having done?”

We’ve all heard that at the end of our life, we don’t regret the things we’ve done as much as we regret the things we haven’t done. Opportunity missed is more painful than mistakes we’ve made along the journey.

Life is short. Every year seems to go by faster and faster. So again, next time you’re facing a tough decision ask: What would I regret NOT doing? And, once you’ve made your decision… honor it. Take swift action to get it rolling.
