Simple Self-Care Tips for Reconnecting with your Body
Do you feel like a walking head totally disconnected from your body?
When was the last time you did something JUST for the fun of how GOOD it felt in your body?
Can’t remember? Yeah… I get it. We are so consumed with work, family, getting shit done and so much more.
I believe and KNOW this to be true … that the way you feel in your body affects the way you show up in relationships, in your business and in your life in general.
If you’re not sure that this connection is as real as the ground you’re standing on, I challenge you to try one of these things each day for the next 7 days. Stay mindful of how you feel before, during and after. Try journaling your experience and stay mindful of how you feel in your body throughout the day and interacting with those around you.
10 Simple Self-Care Tips
1. Moisturize your body all over … slowly.
2. Take a warm shower where you just FEEL the water running down your body.
3. Eat a fruit as if it’s your LAST and really tasting each bite and how it feels in your hand, mouth and even the smell.
4. Lay on your bed and just listen to music as you feel it in your body.
5. Take deep breath pauses through the day and breathe through your sacral chakra.
6. Do something in nature every day … even if it’s just looking up at the sky for 2 minutes.
7. Put on your favorite music and DANCE as if nobody is watching.
8. Find a beautiful crystal and hold it against your heart a few times a day.
9. Take a break from your computer and massage your own hands for 3 minutes … mindfully, slowly, and with your eyes closed.
10.Masturbate … put on some music and spend a few minutes giving yourself pleasure …. blushing yet? GOOD!!! Let’s get the blood flowing and waken the divine feminine.
