Wow, what a summer it has been. If you were to ask me to write a first-day-of school report on my summer (remember that??), here’s what mine might sound like:

* Drove across the country from San Francisco – to Colorado – to Wisconsin – back to Colorado… with broken air conditioning (but I always say I’d rather be hot than cold, so guess who sucked it up like a champ!)

* Was pall bearer at my grandmother’s funeral. This was my very first funeral and I had no idea to expect. What I found out? It was an amazing honor, and I needed the goodbye to my grandmother more than I knew. ❤

* Ummm… I think I may have cured myself of workaholism? I’ve stuck with my plan to take weekends off, something about being able to hop on a float in a gorgeous midwest lake at a moment’s notice puts the “urgency” of emails in perspective. And somehow, things are still moving forward. (Hmmmm!)

And hey, summer isn’t over yet. Next week I’m heading to beautiful British Columbia for a business retreat on Wizardly manifesting, and then it’s back to Cali.
