Question: Lately I’ve had lots of prospective clients tell me my rates are too high, or that they’re not ready to invest in coaching yet. I’ve also had a few people ask me for a discount on 1:1 coaching. I feel like I’m attracting the wrong kind of people, because my rates feel just right to me. How can I attract high-end clients that are ready to invest?
Answer: This is an awesome question!
First of all, I want to suggest that the universe is reflecting something different than what you say you believe. You’re saying that you feel your rates are just right. My guess is that you probably have something underlying what you’re saying that is interfering energetically with the transmission that you’re sending out into the world.
There are a couple things that could be off here.
Get Into Alignment
You could be out of alignment with understanding who your divine right fit clients are. That’s an energetic match, much more so than a demographic kind of thing. You want to have an energetic match with you divine right clients.
Check Your Money Mindset
Second, you may be experiencing an issue around your relationship with money and your ability to receive money at the level you have set for yourself. If what you’re getting reflected back to you is people who want discounts, or people who are saying they’re not ready for coaching, then you may have an underlying challenge with your relationship with money that your mental body doesn’t have access to.
Your mental body may be saying that these are the right prices, everything adds up well, and this is what you need to charge. You feel good about charging this, but you may have something underlying that’s running the show and actually warding off the wealth instead of welcoming it.
Examine Your Business Model
The third possibility is it may be time for you to consider whether or not you have a business model setup that is both in service to you and giving your divine clients what they need in order to say yes to themselves and yes to working with you.
Sometimes it’s useful to take a timeout, maybe have a divine business design retreat day, and look at your business model. Discern whether there is some kind of energetic clarity that you could create that would allow for a more robust experience for you, where you are able to attract your right fit people at your right fit prices and have a business model that is functional and sustainable over time.
I have recently made a big shift in my business model where I am now building a much broader base of people, out of which I see precipitating those high end clients. It’s actually shifted me to move away from being more in a chase mode and being more in a receptive mode. As a result, I’m feeling more peaceful. I’m bringing in people who are highly invested in an introductory offer and who are definitely ripe to be taken to that next level.
I’m not offering a $97 thing. I’m offering something that requires substantially putting their money where their mouth is and will also open them up to being ready for an even higher level of investment.
So you may even need to not lower your high end, but raise your low end. You might want to elevate the floor you’ve set in your business. If you have a business model that has some offerings that are very low-end, like $97, $197, $47, or maybe $27, just to give people the taste to get in with you, you might actually need to raise the floor. My floor is now $997, and now my ceiling can be that much higher!
